- Manisses On Spring Street, just a few seconds walk from the Rebecca Statue is the Hotel Manisses and restaurant. The Manisses defined upscale dining on Block Island back in the 1970's. Today, this family business continues the tradition. Frozen in Victorian times, the parlors and gardens offer a romantic setting for dining. The cave-like basement houses a bistro bar and menu and the parlor upstairs serves table side flaming coffees.
- Winfields On Corn Next Road. Next to the Yellow Kittens night club is among the best island restaurants. The rustic wooden interior is cozy and informal. The bar area has bistro tables to eat or drink at while you wait for a table in the dining room. The appetizers look so good on the menu, many patrons opt for multiple appetizers in lieu of an entree.
