Unique Features

The Block Island 1661 Inn is one of a handful of places open to guests year round. During the summer season, the inn is famous for its bountiful buffet breakfast, open to all guests as well as the public. The inn, with its elegant and romantic tenor is host to small events and weddings, or a special honeymoon getaway.

The nine guest rooms are named after Block Island's founding families, and the Abrams family has been host to visitors for more than three generations. The family owns and operates dozens of hotel rooms, cottages and apartments as well as 2 restaurants. They provide on site and on location catering for weddings and events large and small. They also have extensive gardens providing fresh produce for their restaurants. A very special animal farm is located across the street and open to the public. Cared for by the family's patriarch, this farm has animals such as camels, llama and kangaroo. To find out more about a stay at the Block Island 1661 inn, visit their website available below.
