There is a variety of lodging options among these places to stay so check out the accommodations that will enhance your vacation.

Many of the Inns are small so you won't find them on the major online networks. Many do not accept real time reservations online (we are working on that!). We've made it easy for you by consolidating the info here and giving you a way to contact the innkeepers directly.

Deciding where to Stay

What is your budget? Take into account that some inns offer breakfast, a and offer mid-week package deals. Proximity to town and beaches means spending less on getting around.

Manisses Inn

• What is the makeup of your party? Is it just the two of you or the whole family? Some inns are more "family" friendly than others.
• What amenities do you require? Block Island accommodations tend to be rustic. It is not necessarily standard to have a private bath or t.v. in your room.
• How long will you stay? Most places require a minimum of two or three night stays during high season, especially on weekends. Mid-week is more flexible as inns try to fill in vacancies.

The Inns of Block Island range from the 21 room Victorian built in the late 1800's and overlooking the ocean, to the 100 year old 9 room inn in town or one of many guest houses around the island. The island is seasonal, look for room rates that reflect this. Typically the season goes from Memorial Day to Labor Day - this is considered "high season" and with it are the highest room rates. Inns begin opening up as early as March and April where you can expect bargain rates. After Labor Day rates drop again. After Columbus Day most places close up for the season.
