Owner Matt King shares Hawaiian influences by bringing beans, shave ice, acai energy bowls and the aloha spirit from his life and times on the shores of Oahu.The Place has an eclectic "islandy" feel. The atmosphere is vibrant and spirited and the staff like to smile. The senses will be greeted with heady aromas of roasted beans & treats baked in house, sounds of Reggae, Hawaiian music and other fresh tracks as you gaze upon the art and chat with the locals. The java menu features six or seven fresh roasted organic, fair-trade beans or blends daily. Espresso drinks prepared hot, iced or frozen, fruit smoothies with superfood add ins', chai and more. Many choices of organic, fair trade teas are offered. Iced coffee and tea quench your thirst in the summertime! Juices, sodas and snacks; bagels flown in from New York City; The best Big Egg breakfast sandwich served everyday 'til noon; Acai breakfast bowls and acai energy smoothies, veggie burger wraps and a meat lover's portion of slow cooked beef or pork sandwiches for lunch served on N.Y. knot rolls flown in from New York city.
Juice 'n Java has an internet cafe where you may check your email, or purchase a password to use your laptop for the day.
The owner is also a boat captain and fisherman. He offers bass fishing and more through Hula Fishing Charters 
Juice 'n Java is the only place on Block Island where you can get real Hawaiian shave ice. A popular Hawaiian treat, this "snow cone" like flavored ice is the perfect antidote on hot summer days.
