Providing a Relaxed Atmosphere and an Uplifting Experience for decades, enjoy the best roasts on the Block!
Owners Matt King, a Charter Boat Captain and Chef; and Kelly Walsh, a Musician-Yogi-Former Bartender turned Barista took over this island institution in 2007. Matt, a 10 year resident of the Hawaaiian Islands, shares his culinary influences with such Menu items as Hawaiian Pulled Pork and Chicken Adobo.The Place has an "islandy" feel. Let your senses be filled with heady aromas of roasted beans & fresh baked goods, eclectic sounds of Reggae, Hawaiian Music and other fresh sounds as you gaze upon the latest local art. The Menu features six or seven fresh Roasted Organic, Fair-Trade Beans or Bean Blends daily. Espresso Drinks, Smoothies and Chai are also on the menu. Many choices of Organic, Fair Trade Teas are offered. Try one of Matt's Fresh Roasts. House Beans are roasted daily on the premises. Just follow your nose! Iced Coffee and Tea quench your thirst in the Summertime! Juices, Sodas and Snacks; Bagels; The best Big Egg Breakfast Sandwich served everyday until noon; and a Healthy Portion of Slow Cooked Meat Sandwiches for Lunch served on Fresh Knot Rolls flown in from New York City.
In the Off Season, Juice 'n Java Cafe caters to the community by staying open and offering more of whatever the locals like. Hungry Island Workers are always looking for a place to get a quick bite with a good value.
The Cafe shortens hours in the off season, leaving it available to rent for parties and events. As it gets colder in January & February, the cafe closes for a short break, to reopen in March. Check out this

Juice 'n Java is the only place on Block Island where you can get real Hawaiian Shaved Ice. A popular Hawaiian Treat, this "snow cone" like flavored ice is the perfect antidote on those hot summer days. On the way to the beach or after, stop by for one of many refreshing flavors.
